Does your existing glazing conform to Health & Safety regulations?
Health & Safety regulations affect all kinds of business premises and it is vital that your business conforms to them. It is a legal requirement (known as Regulation 14) that all glazing in commercial buildings is made impact-safe and clearly marked.
The requirements of Regulation 14:
- All windows and glazed areas must be protected against breakage
- Safety glazing must meet BS 6206
- Clear glazing in critical areas must be marked to avoid people colliding with it
Save money whilst making your glazing safe and legal
Regulation 14 applies to all new and existing glazing. Having your existing glazing hacked out and replaced by safety glass is costly and disruptive. We can supply and install a safety window film that brings normal glass up to BS 6206 straight away at less than a quarter of the price!
Our window films meet all the requirements of Regulation 14:
- The glass breaks safely – the film holds shattered glass together after an impact, preventing damage caused by flying shards
- Normal glazing with a window film applied meets BS 6206
- We can install frosted, coloured or patterned films to identify glass in critical areas
- PLUS – great value for money with a 10 year warranty
Health & Safety regulations can be complicated to follow and we know that you have other things on your mind – after all, you have a business to run. Our many years of experience in the glazing industry mean that we can advise you on how best to meet the requirements of Regulation 14, taking the hassle out of Health & Safety.
